The next Board meeting will be held on Wednesday, August 19, 2026 , from 9-10:30 am.
We held our last Board meeting on July 15, 2026. We welcomed our newly elected and re-elected Directors whose term starts July 1, 2026: Tina Kennedy, Laura Short, Cheryl Gangi, Bill DiMaio, Trish Kelley and Ann Robinson. The nominations and election of Officers for a 1-year term, July 2026 through July 2027 occurred per The Friends of the Newbury COA Bylaws. Nominations were made for Bill DiMaio for President, Trish Kelley for Vice President, Jim Carrigan for Treasurer and Ann Robinson for Secretary. A vote was held and all were in favor of each candidate. Congratulations to our newly elected Officers!
Our Board of Director Meetings are held monthly on the third Wednesday. We meet from 9-10:30am. As of August 2026, we will hold our monthly meetings at the Newbury Council on Aging (12 Kent Way Suite 100 Byfield, MA 01922).
