                                 Become a Volunteer

Throughout the year, we have opportunities for community board members to assist with activities planned by the Friends of the Newbury Council on Aging.  We also have opportunities for Newbury residents who are interested in serving on the Board of Directors for the Friends.

Newbury residents of all ages are welcome to volunteer.  Students who volunteer can earn credit hours towards their Community Service requirements.

 

The Friends of the Newbury Council on Aging seek volunteers with the following skills and experience to serve on the board:  Management, Secretarial,  Legal Services, Marketing, Accounting, Fundraising, Social Media, Website Maintenance, Strategic Planning, Community Leaders, Religious Leaders, Social Workers, Medical Professionals, Teachers. 

The FNCOA welcomes volunteers from all backgrounds and abilities be part on the board.
